after school distraction was always meant to be a band. when this started as a solo project, nothing felt fulfilling — I wasn’t getting the sound I wanted and I didn’t know how to translate these ideas in my head to a DAW. however, with time, it morphed into a four piece — and that was the best thing ever to happen.

spring cleaning was originally on lifeless glow and was an acoustic tape track — this new version is what it was meant to be, a full band goliath of a track with emotion pouring through every instrument and vocal delivery.

This is the first full band mixed song and this is how it is for now on — this is after school distraction at it’s fullest and I couldn’t be more proud <3
